ORDINANCE NO. 818
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR THE REGULAR MEETINGS
OF THE COUNCIL AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO 801.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MEADE:
SECTION 1. That the Second and Fourth Monday of each month,
at the hours of 7:00 P.M. at the Meade City Building, is hereby
designated as the time and place for the holding of the regular
meetings of the City Council.
SECTION 2. That regular meetings of the City Council shall be
held as set out in Section 1 above unless such hearings are
waived by majority vote of the City Council. Such vote must be
taken at a regularly scheduled City Council meeting no less than
one month prior to the date to be waived.
SECTION 3. Notice of waiver of regularly scheduled City Council
meetings shall be published once per week for two consecutive
weeks in the official city newspaper. Said notice shall be
published no less than two weeks prior to the hearing date to be
SECTION 4. That all ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after its publication in the official City newspaper in
accordance with State Statute.
