ORDINANCE NO. 826
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PART OF CERTAIN STREETS AND AVENUES IN
THE CITY OF MEADE, KANSAS; AND VACATING ALL OF THE ALLEYS IN CERTAIN
BLOCKS IN THE FIRST ADDITION OF THE CITY OF MEADE, KANSAS, AS
AUTHORIZED AND PROVIDED FOR BY SECTION 15-427 OF THE KANSAS STATUTES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MEADE, MEADE
SECTION 1. That it is hereby deemed necessary and expedient
that the following described parts of certain streets and
avenues in the City of Meade, Kansas, be, and the same hereby
are, vacated, to-wit:
Race Street from the West line of Pearlette Street to the
end of the platted Race Street.
Baltimore Street from the North line of Race Street to the
North line of Vine Street.
SECTION 2. That it is hereby deemed necessary and expedient
that all of the alleys in the following described Blocks in the
First Addition to the City of Meade, Kansas, be, and the same
hereby are, vacated, to-wit:
Blocks 72 and 73.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and publication in the official
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council and Mayor of the City of
Meade, Kansas, this 13th day of September, 2010.
